It's a great idea to see you test the game again after 6 years. However you should not expect too much of it right now.

Today or tomorrow the new version 1.27 will be released, and which will contain new gameplay rules. Gameplay rules you won't find anywhere else and that you won't be able to learn in 14 days. All our current veterans will become newbies again, and this week will be made of testings and whinings, and maybe urgent fixes due to release bugs. You'll take part to a kind of live beta, please remain aware of this.

We will, without a doubt, keep this in mind. However, if a company is going to charge $15.00 a month, then I expect at least a little bit of hand holding in the beginning. As it stands now, the game just drops you in the middle of nowhere. It amazes me that the developers don't think an in game "boot camp" of sorts is needed to help get people started right out of the box. Come on, I just bought a $4,000 dollar TV and didn't read the manual. Forget about the people that downloaded the client to try it.

Well maybe yes or maybe not, it's maybe intented to let it being not intuitive. It forces you to ask help on the help channel, speak with other players, join a squad, etc. Step by step you're immerged in a teamplay atmosphere.

WWIIOL is more like a RTS then a FPS, nobody cares about your personnal skills ingame. People care about your ability to communicate and contribute to large organised missions.

Salute !
