Clipsco, you obviously invested no time whatsoever in researching your games. You're so far off in your review of WWIIol that's it not even funny.
World War II Online is the only "true" MMO PvP game out there... and it's a simulation. No one said WWIIol is easy... nor should it be. Please research your stuff before passing opinions... you lose all credibility otherwise.
Wow I have to say one thing rofl..... If you couldnt get a tank going on your own then something is seriously wrong. Been playing since launch of June 01. Not another MMO or FPS comes close to what wwiiol is. FYI about the gernades not bouncing when the game first came out.... You try coding and make a game like wwiiol with the resources they have, then get back to us in 6years. Have fun with the can of worms

You could not be more far from the truth about this game if you even played it for longer than a few hours you would realize the depth and ablity this game has to keep you playing day after day year after year no other game at all has done that for me. do this site a favor hook up with a squad in game and then rewrite your review.
I have been playing for almost 2 years now. I think we forget how hard this game is. If I hadn't come in with a bud, I wouldn't have like it very much. This is a tough tough game to learn! You will hate it!!! until you get your first kill!!
Need to get in with a good squad, 7th army, Allied Strike Team (ast) and the like on the allied side. The hard core squads are usually on Team Speak and it makes all the diff in your SA. your squad will help you get kills and see the enemy as you rank up.
The game is, (if you take the time), immersive and dynamic. There is Air/Navy/Armour/Infantry, all representing real life units of WW2. All with real life characteristics, run by real players with real players in command.
It is by any standard the toughest PvP game on the planet bar none. Only the best survive this game, those with patience enough to learn the steep learning curve get the full on joy this game can give you and satisfaction that you killed the other guy, under the toughest PvP ruleset.
The reviewer did not even take time to understand how the game works! You don't need to multi-crew vehicles; it's hardly ever done. And finding battles is very easy, as is dying because that is realism. The damage model is very very sophisticated and model real world physics like no other game. The game is not for every player, just the very best!
As many others have said your assesment of World War 2 online is way off base and not supprted by fact. Finding action is very easy if you know how to click your mouse buttons. You do not need to multi-crew armor at all and never have. The game designers and player base have a very unique relationship which I have never witnessed in any other online sim or game period.
Perhaps instead of making an uninformed opinion into your fact you should instead try to play a game and realize what it is offering before you make yourself look foolish.
