THe rock is just another hulk hogan and arnold schwartezeneigeristalitiousesed actor. Same profile same role every movie. I woul rather see him as someones sidekick instead of star, and I would like to see his head fall off instead of him beatting up all the bad/good guys on his own. Don't people know that there will only be one rambo? Another game/movie...Rambo... better movie or game?

I don't know if I would agree with that. Rock takes on the role of a coach in the latest one (which I haven't seen), and that's a bit different from the big guns/big swords role he's played in previous movies. Also, he went into wrestling with the intention of training there to springboard into Hollywood, so we might see some different roles for him. After all, Clint Eastwood of all people did Bridges of Madison County.

Yeah I think thats the day that hell froze over...
But the footblal coach still banks on his pretty boy muscle head looks. I mean you think could you see martian lawrence playing that role? pfft he'd be someones girlfriend first.. lol

I think F.E.A.R. could be turned into a decent movie by the right development team (which means nothing because a good team could make 2 pages about crows and an albatross on a telephone line into an Oscar winning short).
But it did have a pretty compelling story and was creepy as all hell.
I would also guess that the Grand Theft Auto movies are due for some sort of movie treatment.

For some reason I got this imagery of Tron (he fights for the users) getting vaporized by this glowing ball.
So figure Danny Devito as the ball, "The Rock" as the left bar and Vin Diesel as the right bar.

But then at least you likely wouldn't see his face much. I don't think Rock can generate enough "salt" to be a Master Chief. De Niro had the right attitude in Men of Honor, but he's 64 now. |

Ooh I know they could use that guy from "Snatch" and "The Transporter" err whats his face Jason Statham I think. too bad he's short as hell... but he has just enough salt and of course a british accent. |

I would jump on the tailcoats of World of Warcraft's recent fame and make a movie based upon the old Warcraft games. About the elusive battle between the humans (and their allies) and the Orcs (and their allies).
I'd flesh out the storyline from the first 3 warcrafts and voila a ready made movie with a pop culture following already established.
If you did the art really well, like in LoTR -- you should be setup for a great blockbuster.
I've heard rumors that blizzard is making a movie. Umm. Good game - movie. Decent Freespace? One of the greatest space sims of all time. From the late 1990's and I still enjoy it greatly. Both 1, 2 and the expansion. I thought they had a cool storyline. |
