Background:

Munchie started as a change of pace NPC in order to add a little humor to a campaign. His innocent manner of doing things, his unreal ability to "borrow" things, and his penchant for showing up when least expected made him a good NPC that has reoccurred in 4 campaigns now. He has somehow found a way to travel between Faerun and Ansalon, but has remained in Faerun now for a couple of years.

A quick look shows Munchie is not a combat character, faring very, very poorly in that arena. He often shows up, passes on some information, causes some havoc, and then slips away. This is especially true if in the process of causing havoc he causes tempers to flare. Because of his innocent, child-like nature, in cases when he hasn't been successful at getting away, some patron will come to his defense.
