Latest from Dork Tower.

I have friends and associates that resemble the remarks on both sides. However, it's poking fun at stereotypes. Smiley

Heh I can emphathize with the Brits.

The issue as I see it is... why can't goths wear white... and maybe have bright sunshiny colors... without resorting to glitter... and what about having a pleasant and optimistic disposition and believing that maybe God isn't dead...

oops nevermind now I am describing Evangelicals.

Goths can wear white. You've seen the Matrix trilogy...

Unfortunately, there was more than 1. I was thinking, "Man, Keanu finally did a good movie since Bill & Ted!"  Then he blew it with the sequels.

That was not his fault, his acting was fine.  It was the script.

Keanu. Acting. That's like saying Cheney is going to vote for Hillary in the next presidential election.

How is that even remotely close to being accurate or the same type of comparison?

Depends on your perspective, I guess. For instance, as a great example of Keanu's acting ability, I give you Dracula, Johnny Mnemonic, The Devil's Advocate (especially the inability to keep the Southern twang accent), and The Replacements. Some would say in The Matrix he wasn't acting, just being himself.

Now this doesn't mean I'm such a great actor myself, mind you. My kids don't even believe me when I'm trying to act unless I'm pulling military drill instructor, which goes back to my college days.

bah Keanu's best movie (acting wise) of all time would be as Theodore "Ted" Logan in the cult classic "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" .  Actually all of Keanu Reeve's movies can be summed up as either a "happy" Ted (in a goofy kinda way) or a "sad" Ted (in a goofy kinda way).
