Adventures in MACE 2006

Well I am at MACE -
1st Session - Cyberpunk2020
6 players
Sprocket - Tech - Clipsco
Road Runner - Nomad - "Rigger"
Ti (Tijuana) - Medic
Vic - Cop/FBI agent
Jimmy - Press Reporter
Cyris - Solo (Street Sam)
Got a Tech archtype to play - Called him "Sprocket"
Got suckered into a "simple" S&D mission.
Find drug shipment / Eliminate shipment / eliminate witnesses.
Of course - nothing is currently going ideal.
Preliminary drug buy went very bad
Death Count 3 NPC's dead - 1 PC (Reporter) wounded.
The game saga continues.
After the "pickup" Jimmy our intrepid reported decided to call in some favors with the press corp in order to get a chemical diagnostic lab in order to let Ti the medic get a chemical analysis of the new drug "Midnight"
This went very... very wrong when the FedEx shipment arrived, Jimmy made the unfortunate mistake of opening it, without a standard paranoia check.
3 kilos of C8 later. Jimmy shuffled off his mortal coil. RoadRunner and Cyris were heavily wounded in the resulting blast.
5 40oz later we paid our respects to the dearly de"parted" Jimmy and swore vengence.
After regrouping Cyris' decker contact called us up with new information.
'Net intel lead to the following information.
The drug drop was held at sea outside of the bay.
2 ships were involved in the transaction.
Decker required a "Shirley" transaction fee in order to transfer the rest of the information, Vic was "lucky" winner.
Next morning we found out that sonar buoys had pinpointed their exact location. We rented out a boat got some scuba gear... and picked up a pair of WWI era limpet mines.
We pulled a Navy SEAL bit loaded up the demolitions boat and using our scuba gear attached said limpet mines to the target vessels.
*BOOM*
2 ships of the line down to the bottom of the drink.
And there was much rejoicing.

Without a standard paranoia check
In Cyberpunk he didn't suspect the old UnaBomber trick? Seriously?
Wow. What would he have done if it was a biological agent. Yeah. That's what I thought.

Like I said it wasn't a big loss. It was more hilarious than anything.
Cyberpunk was never known for being pleasant.
