Article: Review: Wii First Impressions
The Wii is the new darling of console game machines. Priced under the PS3 and generally more available than the PS3, reports are in that it's already sold twice as many units as its more expensive cousin. Couple with this the innovations in the game controller and Nintendo's focus to bring in a larger audience than the traditional gamer market, is the Wii worth the hype? In this review, I'll cover my first impressions of the Wii.

We did, initially, because we weren't sure if there was a catch with the SD cards. After having the manual in my hands, there isn't. So I'm going to cancel purchasing the SD cards since they didn't have them when I went to pick-up. Also, the Wii has a very reasonably sized storage capacity already, so there's little need for them except to transfer pictures and the like. The main reason for initially going with the Nintendo branded was having been burned on the MadCatz cards for the GameCube. The ones I have for the PS and PS2 were and are fine. But I had two different ones for the GameCube corrupt. And I don't want to be in the situation of having to explain to one of my boys how he just lost all his saved game info because of a hardware issue that should never have happened. That sucked.
