I have no idea where Fluffy has gone off too and Ignoble Order has been dead for awhile.

Therefore in my opinion it was time for an overhaul and influx of new, and positive, blood.
I figured since there isn't any singular game out there mind as well make a news/blog site based upon gaming in general.

You are more than welcome to stay and meet the new crew.

Looked at the website and it looks pretty cool... maybe a MMORPG version of Sid Meirer's Pirates(tm)

Personally I am looking to NeverWinter Nights 2 and maybe BattleField 2142
Otherwise I have World of Warcraft and BattleField 2 to keep me going in the meantime.

Let me what what other games you might be looking into.

Yeah well I was getting sick of magic and fantasy... This game is going to be as realistic as possible to kinda give you the feel that you really are a pirate or navy person...

However on the fantasy side of it, if you like lord of the rings, it seems like a good lotr mmo is finally comming out.

http://lotro.turbine.com/

They are beta testing now.. I am looking pretty much for games that look good but haven't been released yet when it comes to mmo... I am sick of starting a new game just to find out that the economy is already fucked up and chinese gold sellers run the place...

Actually, LOTROnline is in the Alpha Phases right now.  Turbine Studios is located in Westwood Massachusetts.

I got an invite to their Alpha testing, and I'm scheduled to go there Next Tuesday. (The 21st).

Unfortunately, I've agreed to a Non-Disclosure, and Won't be able to give any Major Specifics about the game....

I'm suprised no one has mentioned FURY, this is by far the best game that I am looking forward too.

If you have not already, VIEW THE DEMO!!!  It will blow your mind away.

I dunno DEV.. That didn't do much for me to be honest.... It was a lot of cool jumping and stabbing and all... by the way there is already a game out with that whole oriental feel to it... it's called Silkroad Online. http://www.silkroadonline.net/

Hey Mike, that sounds pretty cool man... I understand you can't say anything about it but can you at least give us a little idea of how it felt playing it? If it was above expectations or if it was a bit boring and so?

Im kind of looking forward to www.darkfallonline.com it's pretty much a UO remake with other infulences. However the "Fury" game was another discovery. It's got a big comarison to Guild Wars with a tint of mortal combat finishing moves.

Hero online looks like crap. The weapons look cool, but weapons dont make an MMO. The rest looks like crap. Did I say that twice? It needs to be said at least twice.

I'm looking forward to LoTRO as well.  Of course, I'm a bit of a Turbine Fanboy (no pun intended) as I've been playing most of their games since Beta 2 of the original Asheron's Call.  (I was in Beta 2 for AC and AC2.  I still maintain my AC account and had my AC2 account from release till close and was also in the Beta for the AC2: Legions Expansion.)  I sort of know a person there as well who I've been trying to keep in touch with.  I had applied for a content designer postion on the game, but it ended up being filled internally.

Of course, I already have a job working on a game no one has mentioned, Gods and Heroes.  Granted, I'm only a QA tester, but I'm still working on it.  I've been here about three weeks now and it looks like the game might have potential.  There's some interesting things, none of which I can talk about because I'd prefer to keep my job...

Anyway, if you're interested in checking out GnH, here's the site: http://www.godsandheroes.com/

Perpetual, the developer, is also working on Star Trek Online.  Far as I know, it's still in pre-production but the tech demos I've seen look pretty cool so far.

Yea I am interested to see how Star Trek Online is going to work out...

Not to mention I loved using the phasers on Star Trek - Voyager Elite Force I swear I change my gun back to the phase just to see them do that whole "de-rez" bit.
