Image Space... its big... its dark... its about to get a major makeover.

Flavien Brebion and Co. have taken an independent thought and begun the creation of innovative MMOG. Borrowing storyline elements from "Children of Men", Infinity: The Quest for Earth aims to provide the MMO player with an open gameplay mechanic, combined with a dynamically generated universe to ensure a virtually limitless gaming world to explore.

I was able to speak with Community Relations Director Rich Woods and Senior Developer Flaven Brebion concerning the development progress of Infinity.

In Part I, I discussed the four important aspects that must be present to be successful: concept, scope, time, and goals. These aspects aren't just germaine to designing campaign worlds, but to any successful project, be it writing a poem, building an addition to your house, or passing a driving test. Now let's settling into those topics which are specific to building the campaign world. The first one I'll start with is cosmology, which is the focus of this article.

Review: Fantasy Flight Games' Descent Print E-mail

Descent: Journeys in the Dark is a role-playing based board game which in many ways is similar to Dungeons and Dragons. A product of Fantasy Flight Games, it is a game for 2-5 players with an age rating of 12 to adult. One of the players serves as the Overlord player and it is his or her job to make the other players the hero characters, miserable, I mean, challenged with the quest they are undertaking. It's been out a couple of years and just recently a new expansion was released, the Well of Darkness. Another expansion is already available for pre-order. Therefore, this seems like the perfect time to cast a Game Musketeers eye on this game. This review looks at the game from both the perspectives of the Overlord and Hero players.

Image Tabula Rasa, the newest MMOG creation from the mind of Richard Garriott.

Since my old Ultima Online playing days I have to give anything "Lord" British does a serious look over and TR is no exception.

I recently got a chance to chat with April "CuppaJo" Burba, Community Manager for Tabula Rasa, she discussed the vision that NCSoft wishes to impart with their revolutionary sci-fi MMOG.

Good bye old standards of point-click rinse and repeat, if this game is as advertised this could be a nice turning point in the development of MMO's and hopefully a "hump" buster in developing the 2nd generation player interface necessary to get MMOG's past thier World of Warcraft / Everquest Funk.

And with Garroitt at the helm, I personally can't wait.

Lets see what April has to say:
